I'll have to check the install position of my horn cause the upside down is only good for cakes,

It's not upside down per factory, although it would be better to have flipped it over.

I'm not positive but I've heard the Car has to be running to do Software Updates...??... Maybe so the battery won't lose charge..?
Don't know for sure.
Mine was a 12 hr. Wipe & Restore process.

In the shop for module updates they connect the car to a power supply.
For Nav and entertainment software updates, that you do yourself, they recommend to keep the car running.
