Love the car but finding that there are shortfalls for a limited version.

I would have expected both front seats have the same adjustment parameters like height adjustments, as an example, or rear cup holders as standard vs a $110 add-on...
The last 4 cars we've bought (2002 PT Cruiser, 2003 Dodge Sprinter, 2014 Yaris SE and 2011 Soul +) only had the height adjustments on the driver's seat. Only super-luxury cars seem to have all the features on the passenger seat.

Rear cup-holders are not an issue, as the dog has no thumbs, and can't drink from a cup.

Another feature, that I would have expected was the rear camera display function/button while in park. I have it on my 2022 Santa Cruz SE base model

Well, I agree that those are all "nice-to-have" features. But you have to remember that this is an entry level vehicle. Even the top trim level is not going to have all the amenities of even a mid-level vehicle. They want to incentivize you to trade up, after all!
there's always things that we wish would have been with the vehicles we buy, but we have to ask ourselves why we bought the vehicle we bought and I'd think that the dollar played the biggest part of our decision...my 2022 is the first new vehicle that I've bought in 20 years [I only buy new because I keep them till they are ready to be retired] and it's my daily driver, and it replaced many daily drivers that I've had over the last 50+ years and this Venue is the very best daily driver I've ever had...my daily drivers usually last a very long time...I've had daily drivers because they have taken the place of my toys which have been Dodge and Charger R/T's from the 70's and a Corvette and right now a 1999 Camaro SS convertible.

One of my daily drivers was a 71 VW Bug which was new when I bought it, which I figured was the best vehicle I ever bought for the dollar amount because it did everything I needed for a daily driver, and the VW Bug didn't come with much, and it was the best vehicle in the snow you could buy...and you didn't need snow tires and the only way it ever got stuck was when I bottomed it our in some very deep snow that I should have known better then to take on that amount of snow...now my 2022 Venue Ultimate is now the my best daily driver, and yes there's a few things I wish it had but I knew what I was getting for the dollar amount...I got the Ultimate model because here in Canada they are a bit different even with the US Limited model which is the same as the Ultimate model, and for the money and how it was equiped, it was the best I could buy.

I'm 76 now and of course I'll see things different then when I was much younger and we all will have different tastes and what our needs are and that's good and it helps to make changes on what we need and want.

If I wanted less features, I would have bought the SE version
