Ordered the denim blue in late June. An email from Hyundai Canada tells me the expected build is Oct, so perhaps delivery by Christmas but more likely in the new year. My 2004 Echo is still hanging in and very reliable on one hand, but rocker panel rust, zero bells and whistles and the only safety features, other than seatbelts, are 2 airbags and ABS. Hyundai wasn’t even on my radar but one day in traffic I'm behind this little black thing - VENUE it shouts out in big bold chrome letters. What IS that I’m thinking. Started researching when I got home. Reviews, articles, pictures, you tube videos. I’m looking at all the options and thinking this could be it. Test drive and I’m sold.

PS I downloaded the 2022 driver’s manual - for fun? Good God – so much stuff on this car. My car has roll up windows and a horn.

It was love at first sight for me too! I also saw the Venue in black in traffic and had to have it. I ordered my 2023 in polar white (I'm trading in my black Elantra and wanted a colour change). I'm still waiting on word.... I ordered in May, I think.

I'm so much less fond of the exterior re-design as released overseas (rear with black bar and connecting lights, and revised square grille in front). My dealership assures me the 2023 model here will have updates but original exterior look (yay!). I can hardly wait -- although I know delivery will be delayed due to parts shortages globally (sigh).
you guys will love the Venue...my Ultimate Denim in Blue is fantastic and is far more than all the road tests etc. that I've read and watched on videos...I've been following the Venue since the car first came out...most of the reviewers missed the real reason this car was build and at the price range it's in...it's a bargain...the reviewers tried to compare it to much higher end vehicles and the stupid 0 to 60 times and the ride quality etc...I have found mine has lots of power and has a very comfortable ride and a very good quality interior...I like the fact that Hyundai Canada picked not just very good options on the models but they have picked nice interiors and exteriors, especially things like the Ultimate has, like a very nice grill only on this model, and the lights on the sides of the body are on the mirrors and you'll love the heated steering wheel and heated seats.

The more I read the better the Venue looked. Not enough power for highway driving and safe passing? Feh. Venue has 13 more HP than the Echo. Thought I would need a new set of winter tires because I have 14 inch tires on 4 hole rims but… Snow Mode ! Saw a video demo and read positive comments from Venue owners in snow regions. I bought winter tires for first time 4 years ago because I only felt the need for them as I got older. I’ll wait and see things go this winter.

Welcome, I bought winter tires for the first time in my life but only because my insurance company gave a discount for running them. Adding snow mode to the tires made the car so sure footed, I found myself driving far too fast for conditions.
I think you will love the Venue and I'm sad that you have to wait for it to arrive. Venue1947 knows that waiting feeling too well.
lol, yes -- I'm excited just thinking about it! Thanks for all the helpful advice and enthusiastic support ;)
2004 Echo! I feel like your spiritual sibling, because I drove a 2005 Scion xA for fifteen years before buying my Venue. Loved the Scion, love the Venue just as much.
