Is there any way to adjust brake pedal height? The brake pedal is much higher than the accelerator pedal, making it necessary for me to lift and draw back my leg and then lower it onto the brake. This is very awkward and might well get me into a wreck.

No issues for me.
You could try switching them for the sport pedals.
If you are legitimately handicapped (no offense intended), you may qualify for $1,000 mobility program from Hyundai.

I definitely agree with you that it takes some getting used too as indeed, the brake peddle is considerably higher than the accelerator. I do believe, however, it's just a matter of learning to drive the vehicle with the peddle height differential in mind and soon it will be second nature.
Perhaps it's the fact that I owned a lot of vehicles (65+ ) during my lifetime so I've pretty much trained my body to deal with each one of them and adapt my style to them instead of expecting them to adapt to me.

Jake, I hope my answer did not give you the opinion that your answer was ill intended. I believe you made some very good points. I'm wondering if the manual trans makes a difference with the peddle height or the fact that there are 3 peddles not 2. It's interesting, I didn't pay any attention until Tony made this thread then I noticed now and then I bump the brake peddle, I only have a coupe hundred miles on my Venue so driving it is still pretty new. Interestingly, I don't find this situation with my 2020 Santa Fe Limited.
