I updated my 2020 and enabled Wireless Android Auto(Apple Carplay)

This was a CAN model, using the USA update. You'll have to look up your countries specifics.

What version did you update to/with? Even on the USA site I can only find the info update for 21-22 non NAV.

yes, just use the 21-22 update

also heard they just default added the wireless toggle into the android auto app by default (on phone)

goodluck, if the update doesnt work you might have to enter engineering mode with code to "Force Update"
