Missing the forum. Just a quick check in. On day 6 without power from that nasty hurricane Fiona hit Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Likely a few more days before we get electricity. Maybe longer before internet is working. Phone service is sketchy. Thankfully our home didn't sustain major damage. Sad for the many that did.
It's really heartwarming to see the hundreds and hundreds of power trucks, from all over the USA and Canada that left their families and drove all the way here to help our families. Simply awesome.

How did the Venue weather the storm?

Covered in debris but not damaged. Neighbors tree took out the fence narrowly missing Venue.

Here are all I took. My next door neighbors yard. Amazingly the house was not damaged... I feel really bad for those impacted by hurricane Ian.

Finally got internet back. This poor house is like so many...some areas have row upon row of trees blown down in the same direction, like a nuclear bomb hit. I feel for those struck by Hurricane Ian, they got hit hard.
