Fun denim fact...the blue paint has a turquoise metal flake. Crazy!

I believe that’s the Blind-Spot Collision Warning sensor, available on the SEL and Denim trims.
The interior lights are brought to you by autozone.
$17.99 and a 10 min install time.lol
Plugs into the 12v jack and you can easily conceal the wires down the sides of the dash molding.

That thing on the front is the collision radar I believe.

Thanks. I also like your mats. Does the driver’s side cover the footrest?

I have the 2020 SEL Premium, and the brochure states that we have the same safety features.
However, the denim seems to have a sensor placed on the lower left grille. I wonder why.

Yup, but here’s the trick john. Those mats are weathertechs that was a gift for my old 2013 sonic rs. Luckily they fit the venue.
Here’s a link to the leds

From what I found out about cars with that rectangular panel on the lower left side of the front bumper, it’s for cars that have the adaptive cruise control. Problem is there’s no adaptive cruise control on the US Venue as far as I know. Maybe a future update?

Amazing how the stripe barely shows in photos. Must be the glare.
Adds some needed pop to the side profile.
Next up is the led trunk badge, currently sitting in NJ, fresh off the slow boat from China. ✌🏼Y’all

Roof Rack it :devilish:

I would have bought the denim if that is the case.
The only way to find out is to remove the bumper and see if there is some sort of a connection.
If not, it is just aesthetic like fake hood vents.

My 2018 Hyundai Kona Ultimate had it as well, but it was located on the bottom center of the front bumper. There was no adaptive cruise control. It was added in the 2020 model year. So basically it was a dummy panel.

Makes sense. They will slowly add features such as the Adaptive Cruise Control through out the years to market the venue.
Just like how the 2020 had wired Apple/Android Carplay, then have it wireless in the year 2021.
Maybe they will add the fog lights in future years, too
No roof rackin...sorry man. Keeping it simple. White will dominate the color scheme with the addition of the led badge 🤞🏼. This paint with the turquoise flake does funny things in different light conditions.
Oh and there is something on the back of the plate. Some kind of radar module, just don’t know what.

I literally tried to scan that Q code on the picture (Didn't work lol:ROFLMAO:)

I did google 99110-K2100.
Genuine Distance Sensor for 2020-2021 Hyundai Venue | Part# 99110-K2100 | Hyundai OEM Parts Direct | Link
The result shows:

Distance sensor?
Is that the stuff they put for Adaptive Cruise Control? or maybe forward collision avoidance?

The funny thing is that all trims have the same safety assist systems with the exception of the SE trim which lacks blind spot monitoring & rear traffic warning, but the Denim has that visible sensor on the bottom left of the front bumper on top of the grill and the other trims don’t. However, I do notice something behind the grill on my SEL. My best bet is it’s used in lane keeping assist and pedestrian detection because both use a radar sensor.
