Yep, Venue is a fun to drive vehicle. I moved from a 2008 Saturn Aura and had a 2000 Saturn SL1 before that. Venue is a few steps above those.
I traded up from a Scion xA that I'd driven for fifteen years. That was a fun car, but the Venue takes it to a new level.

Congrats! I know what you mean - I upgraded from a 2004 Echo with manual roll up windows.
how did you find the steering wheel adjustment...I wish it could have been adjusted downward a bit more but I believe the they figured that if it went any lower it would block the gauges a bit too much...the reason I'd like it a bit lower is because of where I like to hang onto the steering wheel and I know I could move the seat higher and closer, I've tried to adjust the steering wheel out a bit further but I like where I have the seat adjusted more then moving it to accommodate the placing of the steering wheel...one of the best car designs for the steering wheel adjustments I've seen on a couple of cars was when you move the steering wheel adjustment up or down the dash also move up or down and that way the dash was always at the ideal position as well.

Lots of ex Saturn drivers here. I bought a new 1998 SL1 base model in 1998. It had AC -- its only option. Otherwise it had manual transmission, windows, locks, mirrors and just an AM/FM radio. I went on ebay and paid 100 for a Saturn radio with cassette. Beautiful sandstone metallic color. I sold it when I got married in 2001 as the wife didn't like manual transmission cars. I wish I had kept it as a spare car.

Congratulations to OP. You will like your Venue.

Ha! One of the reasons I insist on buying manual transmission cars is so my wife WON'T be able to drive it!

And I miss hand-crank windows. I would probably pay an extra thousand bucks if I could get a car with manual crank windows. No logical reason, just a personal preference.

power windows are great in the non-winter months...my last daily driver of 20 years were hand crank and the one before that were power and with the power again now I make sure I don't try them now till I know that they are not frozen shut with ice and snow cause using them when frozen can cause damaging the motor and the same goes for the wipers that they're not frozen to the glass.

Grats, also just got a 2020 Denim Venue in Abyss Black/White Accents and Silver Roof.
I used to have an MK4 VW Golf and my Venue feels like the grown up version of it. A little sad no AWD but i will worry about that when my rates etc are cheaper 🤷‍♂️ My little VW never had a problem in the snow with Snow Tires, Snow mode on the Venue with just all seasons has already impressed me.

The IVT has 8 gears which is pretty cool, my last vehicle, 2015 Chevy Trax only had 6
