I believe Blue Link provides updates via you smartphone on any movements.

I have the remote key-fob. The salesman told me if I press the "lock" button once, it just locks all the doors. But if I press it twice, it sets an alarm with a sound alert. I do know that two presses causes the horn to beep, but I haven't tested what happens if you jostle the car. Give it a try!
