Hi All. Just recently purchased this car for my wife, and wanted some help with some items:
1. The rear bumper lights are different. The left light has a red bulb, and nothing I try makes it turn on. I've removed the bulb and it works fine. The main reason is that the right one turns on when in reverse. Any ideas why this light is red? and What is it for???
2. The car came with no fog lights, so I want to install them. BUT, the light switch at the steering cable has the fog light switch that works, and whenever turned on the dash shows they are working. When checking the bumper I saw a cable that ends on a dead cover that looks like a switch, right at the bottom of the grill. At first I thought it was the airbag sensor but found those inside the radiator support. Any ideas???
Do let me know. Thanks!!!

1.) Can you post pictures of this one (Hopefully with arrows)? It is very hard to follow the description.

2.) As for the fog lights, My car does not have fog lights, and it doesn't have a "fog lights switch indicator".

1st Knob = Auto Turn on/off Head Lights and Tail Lights
2nd Knob = DRL on with Tail Lights On
3rd Knob = Turn on Night time Head Lights and Tail Lights

The push or pull features are for the High Beams.

It would be helpful if you also post pictures for #2. If our cars were made to have the fog lights plug n' play, I would make a guide on it ASAP.

Posting the details of your car helps, too.

Ok, so, finally got some answers to my question. The issue is this, the Venue I bought has a fog light switch in the steering wheel left control. Picture for reference.

So I thought this would most likely be for someone to install a set of fog lights right at the bottom slots in the front bumper. Was I wrong!!! It's for this:

Ever felt like Hyundai sometimes makes up stuff..... This is supposed to be a fog light for night driving I guess???

Anyway, in the end, I'll have to rewire the car. The reverse lights will be made to match (that means the left to the right), and then I'll send that fog light cabling to the front bumper for one of these (link also):

Still have to figure out how to get these. Currently only available in India. Wish me luck!!!

Make sense, now.
I think it is mandatory in Europe and such continents to have some rear fog lights. Sometimes, car manufacturers make dual, or just one-sided rear fog lamp for cars.

It would be interesting to see your wiring for the fogs.
Either tap into the existing rear fogs so the stock fog switch activates them,
Or have a separate switch on one of the spare switches next to the lower left side of the steering wheel.

I think I am gonna wait until these front fog lamps become more available globally and cheaper before I buy them. I haven't had the need for actual fog lamps.
