Here is mine the day I bought it. I agree @Chicago Jake, the green apple is one of the best colors for the Venue. The only one I liked better is the denim and my dealer didn't have it. I'm so happy I stayed with the green apple. I love that it's different and not the same boring color as every other car or there.

I was tempted to name my car Granny Smith, but I went with Kermit instead.
I call mine "Apple"!!

About 2 months ago, someone pulled out in front of me, hit my back end, sent me into a half spin then up over the payment where I came to a stop in someone's yard (after destroying their hedge). Fortunately no one was hurt except.....well my poor Apple had to be towed. The person who hit me said they didn't see me. Really??? I have a bright green car!! After 57 days, Apple is now back looking like she just came off the dealer lot - thanks to MY insurance (they're fighting it out with his). Due to covid last year; parts were far and few, which is what took the repair so long. I had to drive my brother-in-laws pick up for those 2 months......not as smooth of a ride as my Apple!!

How do you get away with that?
Assuming you are in Chicago - Not sure how it is up there I'm from Kentucky, but grew up in Ohio. Ohio was a lot stricter growing up but police officers down here are cool with you if youre cool with them. Ive been stopped for other offenses before. If I get stopped I turn on my dome lights and if I have a sunroof I open the cover to allow as much light in as possible I put both hands on the steering wheel so the officer approaching the vehicle isn't scared to do so. Remember a lot of the reason why window tint is illegal for the darker shades is because officers can't see whats going on behind the tinted glass they don't know if you have a gun or whatever.. Be cool with them and a lot of times theyll be cool with you. Again I can't speak for other states but Ohio and Kentucky Ive dealt with both and they usually don't say anything about tint.

Okay, I think I get it. You must have tinted them yourself. If you asked a legitimate shop to tint them darker than the legal limit, they'd toss you out in the street!
