Hood Bug Deflector / Wind Deflector in the United States

Hello All!

I'm a new member of the site, but I have had my Venur for a few years. I drive frequently enough that I worry about paint chipping, and would like to "deflect" the bus on my front hood. In the U.S., we have minimal access to Hyundai accessories. The bug deflector is not sold by Hyundai or dealers in the U.S. There are very few accessories offered by the dealers. There are also no third-party manufacturers of these. In the past, I have used WeatherTech, but they do not make one.

Does anyone have any advice or options for owners in the U.S. to buy the wind/bug hood deflector?

Can't help with US supply but the part number in Canada is K2H24AP000
Maybe US dealers can special order it in.

have you ever thought of a body wrap just for that area...I saw one wrap product that high end car guys/gals have used and it was self healing from possible chips caused by things like small stones of any grit type material...what would happen is that if the wrap took a hit the material would reseal it self...I imagine it would of course only last so long but it was a clear wrap and was only used because of the type of cars that had the body lines like Ferrari's etc...but of course the deflector you would like to get will last longer and be much cheaper.

My first daily driver was a 71 VW Beetle, and I don't think there could ever be any deflector made for it...not only did most of the front of it was hit with everything from bugs and small stones, but was sand blasted during the winters from sand and salt that was used on the roads and even the windshield looked to be sand blasted.

hope you find what you want.
My current car(2020 Nissan Rogue Sport) and the previous 2 cars I spent the money to have the front of the hood and bumper wrapped in a clear bra. Not 1 rock chip anywhere. Don't have it on my Venue because I would like to find a deflector for that but then I read on here where if you do get one installed it creates a lot of noise.

I find it strange you can't get one from a dealer or anywhere else. The pictures I have seen on here the deflectors look very nice on the Venue!
We've had several past threads on this topic. I was going to go look for them, then I noticed that they are listed right below under "Related Threads." Very handy!
