I am not able to update my car's navigation system through SD Card or USB, my car was originally imported from Korea, the screen keeps restarting and changing language from English to Korean, and most of the time stops working.
I am not able to download the Korean latest navigation firmware.
Has anyone faced the same problem?
Help please?

I think I read that you can go back to the original factory settings and that may be what you have to do, and then load the new one...when you said it was imported from Korea was it made for Korea and not for your country [sorry I don't know what country your flag is for]...all or most of the Venues are made in Korea and are made up for the countries that they are distant for, like mine was made for Canada, so I wonder even if you go back to the original software it still might not work out for you and if I remember when we get a new software/firmware to load into our Venues, we have to get the one for our individual country.

The head unit changing languages on its own may be indicative of a problem inside the unit.

I did some experimenting in the navigation updater software, I managed to get the software set to South Korea and english. (When you set the software to Korea and the language changes, the pull down menu on top right will allow to set to english)
Next I used your units model info from your pic. The info was accepted but I got a message stating the maps cannot be downloaded from current location. I expect you will be experiencing the same issue. I think the only way to get the update file is to make a friend in South Korea and have them send it to you. You could try using a VPN and set the connection to get an ip address from South Korea. Doing that might get you around the geoblock on the download.

I found this instructional video on doing a factory reset, not sure it applies to your vehicle but the unit looks like yours, just set up for right hand drive. So, the screen taps may be opposite.
Disclaimer: Not responsible for damages done...lol.
