Takes getting used to but I'm kind of liking the latest Android Auto layout update. Didn't do anything to get the update, it just happened.

Not an update to the infotainment system. It is being rolled out to phones on a staged schedule.

Thanks. My phone is still on 8.6, with no update showing as available. But I did manage to find out how to disable night mode (which sucks) on Maps. I hope it works.

Mine doesn't show an update available either, I'm still showing 8.6. The new display just showed up. I read the new display is being pushed out from the server. You'll probably get it soon.

Yep, I have that new display too. Don't much care for it. I'd rather have as much map area as possible.

Fortunately, I found that you can get the full-page map back by pressing that magnifier icon in the upper left.

I just noticed this new display this week. I rather like it, but also still use the full screen mode.

One downside of this update is that they moved the clock from the upper left to the lower right, where it is a bit harder to see.
