Issue: On certain vehicles, there may be a problem with the driver and front passenger seat belt pretensioners. As a result, the seat belt pretensioners could explode in a crash. If this happens, small pieces of metal could hit people in the vehicle. Note: This recall replaces recall R0200 (Transport Canada Recall No. 2021-627) for Venue models. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: A seat belt pretensioner that explodes could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to install protective caps over the driver and front passenger's seat belt pretensioners.

Has anyone got this yet...I just got it on my Bluelink monthly report?

It's the same recall. There were 2 recalls in USA and Canada, the first Transport Canada number was 2021-627 and the second, the one you just got on Bluelink, was 2022-342. Not sure why it's just showing up on Bluelink now.

I came across this Hyundai document on NHSTA website. Internally, Hyundai called the first "recall 211" and it was for 2021 Venues. They followed up with the expanded "recall 231" covering 2020 to 2022 Venues.
thanks, I thought there might be something wrong...

this part of the notice, especially the part I highlighted made me think there was another one... ["This recall replaces recall R0200 Transport Canada Recall No. 2021-627) for Venue models. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair"].

what happened when I got my BlueLink monthly report I clicked onto the recall section and saw this and I now realize that it's showing me any recalls and when mine was done but then the part that I highlighted was just what you pointed out in your post and that through me off.

I'm still waiting for mine to be fixed. No notice from Hyundai yet and when I ask my dealer they tell me they have no parts.

mine was done September 13th...my dealer is a small dealership compared to the big city dealers but my dealership's owner also owns another Hyundai and a KIA dealership in another larger city which may be why I didn't have to wait very long...also since Hyundai and KIA are like GM is for their many models, I wonder if things like the seat belts etc. are the same used in KIA and I wonder if some KIA vehicles also have the same recall which would make for many more recalls.
