has anyone install this one...I thought I'd try it but didn't think I'd need it for what it's for...I followed the download of it and it did say it was okay for a 2022 Venue and when I checked it on the USB it said the version was already installed...and when I tried it in the car it said no supported files...not sure, I might be doing something wrong or it's just not needed...I followed the procedure that I did for 2 other updates that the car took. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
I don't have NAV so can't try to install the download. I did download it to confirm there were new files included. There are a couple in the folder dated 230426.
Here is the file list from the Updater download folder.

The only other thing I can think of is to make sure your USB drive is formatted to ExFAT or the Nav unit will not recognize it or the files copied to it.
Hope this is of some help.

yeah the usb is formatted correctly
Maybe make sure the same files listed above are on the USB in case the program mistakenly copied an old installation.
Other than that, start from scratch and try again and....hope...lol.

what I did was I opened one of the last updates I did in the past to see what I could see and it told my that the version was already installed which I accepted, so I suspect that this latest one I'm trying may have been in a previous update...as well I really don't think this update was anything I really needed for my Venue and maybe Hyundai do an update that has some parts that are only needed for some vehicles and if none are needed for a Venue it tells me and if there are updates that a Venue owner that hasn't been keeping up to previous updates they can do a catch up with the latest update.

The update file you download is specific to the Venue. Each model has it's own file that gets downloaded. Inside the Venue file I downloaded there are newer dated files inside it than could have been in the previous update.
I don't know whether you need it or not but the newest file claims to have new features and the thing about Maps and Navigation units is that the maps get updated as part of the update process, not just the new features.
The last Display Audio System update was messed up by Hyundai but the files had the same dates as the previous update. It is possible they messed it up for the Nav systems too but the files inside the latest version contains newer dated files.
My guess is that you somehow copied the previous update to your USB or not at all if you are using the same USB as last time.
If you are happy with what you have then leave it the way it is. If it was me, I would delete all updates left on the computer, freshly ExFAT format the USB and download the newest update again. Then follow the instructions to put it on the USB and give loading it on the Nav unit another go.

This is the contents of the newest "2021_22_Venue_CAN.ver" file in the latest update file as listed by Windows Notepad....I underlined files that appear to have newer dates.

yeah that's probably what I should do cause I don't need to save the update on my computer that I have already put into my Venue...it'll be interesting once we are able to do updates directly from Hyundai to the car and leave the computer middle man out. 😉

I don't think OTA updates will ever happen on current models but in future years...it won't be just limited to the infotainment systems but to all systems in the vehicle. Which will not only cut out the computer middle man but dealership visits for software updates as well.
Currently only the Ioniq 6 is supported.
My 2023 Venue is the first Hyundai I've owned. I'm very impressed with it except for the navigation. It doesn't show railroad tracks and very few bodies of water are named. My 2019 RAM shows the name of 90% of lakes, rivers, etc. and shows all railroad tracks.
I installed it this morning. Everything went well, no problems. I just got my 2023 last Wednesday.

Welcome, we've had our Venue just over two years. Been totally trouble free.
