Just picked up a new Denim. First order of business...
Tire: Cooper Evolution 215/55R17
Tire Weight: 23 lbs
Wheel: G-line G0078 17x7
Offset: 35mm
Wheel Weight: 21.6 lbs

New setup compared to OEM (205/55R17 - 17x6.5 - offset: 51mm)
  • 10mm wider tire
  • 1/2 inch wider wheel
  • Slightly more squared sidewalls due to less difference between width of tire and wheel
  • 5mm more sidewall height and ground clearance
  • 10mm more diameter
  • 10mm further from strut/suspension
  • Sticks out 22mm further on exterior
  • New setup 0.4 lbs heavier per wheel
Also, brand new stock 17's w/new factory tires for sale!

dude, i forgot to ask...how much for the stock wheels/tires?
i'm next door in WV so I might be able to meet ya halfway to avoid shipping.
I’m in Los Angeles, so halfway could put you kinda far from home! Happy to send you the wheels/tires though. Need to list them in the “for sale” section today. $1000+shipping (REDUCED!) $700 with free shipping for the stock wheels/tires seems reasonable (oem 17x6.5, 205/55/R17). Less than 50mi driven.
Lol. Oh man, my bad. Thought you were from Ohio. Thanks for the response.

Didn't your denim come with the very same wheels?
Why would you need another set? :ROFLMAO:

Very nice replacement wheels. I own a 2020 Santa Fe Limited and a 2021 Venue SEL. I can't believe the OEM wheels on both these vehicles, it's almost like someone in N Korea designed these wheels to get back at the USA because of the Korean War. What was Hyundai thinking when these designs were approved to be on these suv's, luv both of them but hate the wheels. Yes, I know, go spend a couple of thousand $$ and change them. Maybe 20 years ago I'd have done that, now I'll simply live with them and do my God given right--complain about them as I wish!😌
Duke, for realz? I love the stockers on the Venue Sel/demin. In motion they create a buzzsaw effect that I personally love.
I get compliments on them often. I always get a chuckle knowing they are stock.
But as they say, one mans junk is another mans treasure.

They are just so "chunky" looking with the "bars" being so wide. I understand mayo, and I agree with you, different strokes for different folks. Maybe I need to have my wife drive by me with them spinning or check them out on the store windows as I drive by.
PS- If I come back and say I rear ended someone while checking my wheels out in a store window, I'll definitely NOT like them! 😩

Hey everybody, I need to unload my 17" denim wheels and tires. They live in the guest room right now and the Mother in-law is coming to town, so they gotta go.

I drove on them for only about 50mi before removing them. I'll send them domestically for $900 with free shipping!! There are pics in the classifieds forum here, but they're the stock 17" with new tires from a 2021 Denim.

Here Duke, this video has some nice rolling shots so you can see the wheels in motion, and will keep you from hitting [email protected] in a parking lot.🤣

Mayo-Thanks, they certainly look better when they are spinning. Makes me feel better about having them and leaving them on my Venue. Really appreciate your taking the time to post the video. And oh yeah, I also thank you for keeping my Venue from front end damage as I really like the front end appearance just the way it is.

Price reduced! $700 with free shipping for the stock 17's wheels/tires package. They need a new home!

I need to move these things, so I can send them to you for $700 with free shipping if you're still interested.

Since we are neighbors,
I'll be a bro and store them for you until you sell them, or your mother in-law leaves.
Although the space is outside, and I'll probably just put a tarp on them.

If you really want to get rid of them for good riddance, I will buy them for very cheap (maybe $400, or something) and flip them for a profit. Call it entrepreneurial profit.

I would if I could get that speedo corrected.

I sent an email to the salesperson I bought my Venue from to see if she could personally ask the service techs if anything can be done. (I bought at a different dealership than the one I asked at last week).
Waiting to hear back on that.

I like the way you think. A real creative problem solver!

I’ll find a spot for them in the garage, just don’t want to. They make the guest room smell quite rubbery though. Prob pull the tires off and try to ship just wheels to somebody. Tires will go on Craigslist no problem.
