Thank you. Any chance in this being covered under warranty? The piece just broke when I changed the bulb out.Try here...

Sadly not under warranty. Hyundai said if it doesn’t happen in their shop it’s not warrantied. Seriously? Kind of disappointed as this my first ezpieriejce with Hyundai. Who makes a service call to change a light bulb? Gotta make an appt for steering wheel too as a string is just unraveling. Think I’ll win if I go to bay over the turn signal lens?No harm in asking the dealer to cover it under warranty. If not, give them the part number and ask for their price.
I think I'd be sticking the broken light assembly back on with some double sided tape. My Venue doesn't have side signals. I think all years are the same light assembly though. In my experience breaking the tab off sidelights on other cars, prying them out snaps the clip off. I later found out that to get one out on most vehicles you push the light assembly to the front or rear, depending on the vehicle, to release it.What I’m seeing is around 30.00. Out of curiosity does anyone know what years this side marker fits? Is it 21 and 22 or just 22? May try a junk yard too. Still in awe that this is not covered under warranty
Oh believe me Im considering the double side tape. I can't believe its not warranty'd I mean I get it I was the one who worked on it but its clearly a crummy made part. I did exactly as the video said. I think part of it is that its been over 100 degrees here in the midwest right now and the heat and plastic its like working on a car in the cold anything could happenI think I'd be sticking the broken light assembly back on with some double sided tape. This video shows how it's done on an Accent, likely similar on the Venue.
thanks for the tip man. I just ordered and it was 26.99 and I get it locally I hope this one the clip doesn’t snap on meDid you get a price from the dealer, might save shipping costs. Another option would be to put in a query on car-part.com
Since the actual part is not in the list. Select "Electrical Part Misc" and fill out the form. You might get replies from some auto recyclers.
