USB ports for Venue 1.0 Turbo GDI MT SX

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to ask about the USB ports provided in the Venue 1.0 Turbo GDI MT SX.
There are two ports but one is solely used for charging whereas other one can be used for connecting the phone or USB for song playing.

Now if I want to connect my phone for Android Auto, I cannot use another USB port and play the songs from Pen Drive (USB).
So at a time I can either connect USB to play songs or connect the phone for Android Auto.
I see there is no use of having another USB port which meant only for charging.

Does anyone know how to configure USB ports with the music system so that I can connect the Android Auto on one USB and play the songs from anther USB.

Thanks!

I can't answer your question, but I can offer a suggestion. Why don't you load all the songs onto your phone and play them through Android Auto? If you don't have enough storage space, flash cards are really cheap these days.
Thanks for replying. I really appreciate the suggestion however I have loads of songs and playing them from phone and also running Google maps (over internet) keeps my phone burning hot all the time.. :(
So I refrain from doing this exercise.

I had compared this with Ford Eco-Sports and there both the USB ports can be used. I just wondered why Hyundai ignored this small but very effective functionality.

I hadn't thought of that. Makes sense, though.
