Venue splash shield under the engine

Hello guys, I am interested in whether your Venue came with a splash shield under the engine. My 2021 Venue didn't.
Do you think there is a non-official company that makes them for the Venue since I am concerned that my engine might be damaged from all the mud and salt from the roads in the future.

If you look at this review from SavageGeese, they have the Venue lifted up and you can see exactly what is/isn't covered by the splash shield.

Hi I bought the limited in January.
I thought the same thing I looked down to see the ground I’ve never seen anything like that I’m a girl and even I knew that looked weird I’d like to know if anybody else noticed it and what to do about it doesn’t damage anything
I assume since they’re all like that that it wouldn’t cause any damage but I don’t know
Most of the previous vehicles I've owned didn't have any splash shield underneath and no harm ever occurred. I wouldn't be concerned about not having one on the Venue.

That what I was thinking too. Cars are pretty much designed to be weather-proof.

How about nailing a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood underneath? I know what you're thinking, but I would spray some of that black stuff on the plywood to make it water repellent.

I think that would cause one hell of vibration sounds 😂

I wonder what the impact would be on engine cooling if you blocked the free flow of air out of the engine bay.

I don't think it's going to cause any heat problems, most of the cars have splash shields and they don't make any difference

But the other cars are designed to have a splash shield. The Venue is not.
I got 40k on my 2021 Venue and change my own oil. You don't need the splash shield. It actually got in the way on my 2018 Kona as I had to stuff a rag to keep the oil from rolling down the plastic.
