Tonight I got 41.9 mpg 59.2 mile trip home “work”
43 miles highway didn't go over 65mph and 16 miles back roads 40mph highest since I’ve got my Venue.
Usually I’m at 38 mpg at 70/75mph, that's a savings of 46 miles over a tank

I average about 38mpg.
I have just over 5,000 miles, most of which has been on two lane country roads at 45 to 50 mph.
My round trip to work is 16 miles on back roads.
I would think on a long highway run, I would get 40mpg, or slightly higher.
I also have the IVT transmission.
Very impressive gas mileage!

I get around 42 mpg on my rare highway trips. Most of my driving is short trips in the city, and I average around 28 mpg. This is with the six-speed manual, and I generally shift much later than the car wants me to. I prefer the torque to the mileage.

Picked up our 2021 Venue today, Preferred trim. First little drive, 57 km or 35 Miles. The trip meter reported fuel usage of 6.4 L/100km or 37.5 MPG. No speeds over 80 km/hr. I'm pretty impressed. The 2008 Saturn Aura XE, 3.5L V6 the Venue is going to replace gets 11.9 L/100km or 19.8 MPG driving the same route.

Another short trip...5.2 L/100km or 45.2 MPG

In the year and a half that I've had my Venue, the on-board computer consistently tells me I'm getting 27 mpg overall and around 42 mpg on the highway. I finally did an actual mileage-over-gas-purchased calculation on my own over two tankfuls, mostly city driving, and it gave me 27 mpg. So the computer seems to be pretty accurate.

I did a manual verification of the gas mileage after my first fill up.
Display reading Average of 6.6 L/100km (35.64MPG).
Manual calculation after fill up...6.7 L/100km (35.11MPG)
Had I stopped filling when the nozzle first clicked off the numbers would likely have been even closer.
Accurate enough for me...(y)

As I mentioned in a previous post, I am amazed with the gas mileage I can get when I really concentrate on using a very light touch on the gas pedal! I'm on my second tank of gas and here is what I am getting:

I just did a recent road trip from Orange County to San Francisco. Grape vine area killed my MPG to about 34 with moderate pedal modulation. The rest of the time with cruise control on, I peaked between 37-38 mpg! Definitely happy compared to the OEM rated numbers

I took my Venue on its first highway trip last night. I had to drive from NE Ohio to Buffalo, NY to pick up my brother at the airport, so it was about a 400 mile trip in total. I would've made it on one tank had I started out with a full tank, but it was like 80% full when I left.

And mid-way back home, I stopped for gas and filled up, as it would've been too close for comfort getting back home with the gas left. I averaged 38.2 miles per gallon, and that included me idling for like 1.5 hours in the parking lot of a rest area on I-90. So had I not idled for that long, I would've surely average about 41 like all you guys are getting on highway trips.

The idling was so I could kill some time before getting to the airport. $4 an hour for short-term parking at the airport, plus the rest area had a restroom and McDonald's.

Hi all, I bought my 2021 Venue about a month ago, I Owned it for about a week and the wife and I decided to take a little 2-week Vacation to the North Woods of Wisconsin, (From Maple Park IL) we have a Cottage in La Due Flambeau Wisc.. Filled her up and took off for a 360 mile one way trip, She was loaded down pretty good, I was able to talk the wife into not taking the Kitchen Sink!! made it all the way to the Cottage holding a average speed 78-80 mph, we made it on a tank of gas and still had just a little over 1/4 tank. I was surprised because we did run the A/C for about 1/2 the trip or so, I didn't think to check the MPG, but after the trip home and again running the A/C as we approach IL and still holding about 80mph I checked and we averaged 39 mpg..

Congrats on the new Venue. You will love it. That is awesome gas mileage. I love how even for a small car, it really swallows up cargo. Once you have a hatchback.crossover/SUV, it's hard to go back to a sedan. I will never buy a sedan again.

Took the Venue on a little road trip last week. Driving back from Banff to Kelowna, about 300 miles up and down mountain passes and around curves with constantly changing speeds, my average was 5.1 liters per 100km, or 46mpg. Color me impressed.
